Autumn

In autumn it's apple time on the alpine plateau, be it on the trees, at various events or in the kitchen. A large festival with a parade and South Tyrol's largest apple crown takes place during the "Sunnseitn Apfelwoche" (Sunny Apple Week) in October.

In South Tyrol autumn is irreversibly connected to "Törggelen", an old tradition where inns and guesthouses offer roast chestnuts, the "Nuien" (new wine) and other farmer's products
